Paul previously worked as an Executive Chef in 5 * hotels overseas & UK. We rear our own rare-breed animals on the farm & our produce is used in the Bistro; we are passionate about quality, provenance and supporting local producers & businesses.

Welcome! We can't wait to share our beautiful part of Scotland with you. Errichel House and Cottages is located 2 miles above picturesque Aberfeldy, you'll find breathtaking views, pretty gardens, delicious day-time dining at Thyme Bistro (courtesy of Paul and his team), and foodie treats galore at Thyme Deli. You can even enjoy a tour of our working hill-farm with Becky on Friday and Saturday mornings, advance booking essential. All of our cottages are on our farm and are available on a Self Catering Basis. All linen and towels, heating and electricity is provided. If you would like to enjoy breakfast at Thyme Bistro in the main farm house, please contact us to book your table. Thyme Bistro is open 5 days per week 9am-4pm (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays). Winter hours may vary, please check Errichel online for for current opening times. Thyme Delicatessen, Cafe and Farm Shop is open 7 days per week 9am -5pm. We have a fantastic selection of produce and chef-prepared ready meals available to order to heat in the comfort of your holiday cottage. Three of our Cottages welcome pets, please do get in touch if you would like to book a pet friendly cottage. The bistro welcomes dogs. Please keep dogs on leads at all times when out and about on the property as there are free range hens in the gardens and livestock in the surrounding fields. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Neighbourhood information

Right in the heart of Scotland, we are ideally situated for visiting all areas of the mainland. Just 1 hr and 30 mins away from the main cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Fabulous munro bagging (hill walking), water sports, historical sites of interest and Dewars Whisky Distillery right on our door step. Great for all ages and interests from the romantic, adventurer, or for those looking to get away from it all. Our favourite places are too many to list, but the top few are Highland Safaris, Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery, Spirit of Wood, The Watermill Book shop and the Highland Wildlife Park.
