Exeter's centre is fairly compact and most of its best attractions are within easy walking distance of each other. The high st also hosts lots of Exeter's most popular bars and nightclubs (Timepiece,The Terrace,Unit 1, The Vaults) Gandy st (just off the high st) provides more niche and funky theme bars plus the legendary Cavern club for Live music acts.
