Forming part of a pretty row of Cotswold stone cottages, Fairview is the epitome of country charm. The pale stone exterior reveals a surprisingly spacious, and elegant cottage with all the creature comforts needed for a delightful stay in the Cotswolds. Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, making it a perfect place for a family gathering, please note that the third bedroom has restricted height, and although the single beds are full size, it is most suitable for children, whilst the fourth bedroom is a beautifully appointed garden annexe. With Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh just three miles away and a friendly pub within a stone’s throw, it has everything you could want for a countryside escape. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties. A 500GBP security deposit is required for this property. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted. The twin bedroom has full size single beds, however is best suited to children as there is low head height above the beds. The 4th bedroom is an ensuite annexe in the garden. There is a right of way through the garden for the neighbours, but it is rarely used, and usually only on bin day. There is a low beam between the kitchen/dining area and the living room.

Supermarkets and Shopping: The community-run village shop is a 1-minute walk from the cottage. In Stow-on-the-Wold (2 miles) there is a Tesco and in Moreton-in-Marsh (3 miles) a Co-op and an Aldi. The Cotswold Food Store and Café is a 2-minute drive and there are some excellent farm shops around the area too. Eating Out: • Coach and Horses, Longborough – welcoming traditional country inn, with good pub food (0.1 miles) • Restaurant Henne, Moreton-in-Marsh – intimate fine dining with a strong focus on local produce (3 miles) • The Old Butchers, Stow-on-the-Wold – popular, family-run restaurant with a nose-to-tail dining ethos (3 miles) • Daylesford Organic Farm – destination dining with three distinct dining areas (6 miles) Walks: Longborough is surrounded by some beautiful countryside walks. From the village, there are paths to Bourton-on-the-Hill, where you can stop for a tipple at the Horse and Groom, and Sezincote along with some beautiful walks around Batsford Arboretum.
