There is an incredible sense of community in the Witterings, and you'll experience this first hand when you visit the various shops, cafes and pubs in the area. The local trade work very hard to look after the villagers, and in turn we try to buy as much a possible from them to keep them going! Try out Munneries Grocers, Tom Hoare's butchers, Something Fishy Fishmongers to name but a few. If you have a sweet tooth have a nosy in the good old fashioned sweetie shop too! The 53 and 53a buses leave from the top of Jolliffe Road and will take you into Chichester via Bracklesham, West Witting, Birdham and Apuldram. It's definitely worth bringing bikes down to the Witterings!
