Fellfoot Cottage is a 19th century bobbin mill workers cottage in Staveley at the mouth of the Kentmere Valley, surrounded by stunning scenery. On the ground floor there is a cosy living room with original floorboards and a window seat, leading through to a dining kitchen. To the rear is an outhouse and a detached rear garden. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and a family bathroom.
We are Gemma & Brian, Gemma is originally from the Lakes and we love to visit our family holiday home whenever we can.
The cottage is located at the mouth of the Kentmere Valley. There are numerous walking and cycling routes straight from the doorstep. Staveley village centre is approximately 2km away and while small has a vibrant mix of independent shops and eateries. Hawkshead Brewery’s beer hall, More Artisan Bakery, Kimi’s Gelato Bar and The Blind Chocolatier are a few of our favourites. There is also a local store, post office, butchers and fish and chip shop. Windermere is approximately 8km away and has a wide range of restaurants and bars, plus Booths supermarket. Located just a 20 minute drive from junction 36 on the M6, Fellfoot Cottage is easy to reach by car. Local buses and trains run from Staveley village.
