In the centre of the attractive village of Scalby. I occupy the ground floor flat. The front door is a shared entrance. Scalby is on the edge of Scarborough, 2 to 3 miles from the town. The property is in a prime location, close to pubs, a cafe, a newsagent. In addition to the sitting room and bathroom, there is a kitchen area, with kitchen facilities such as a microwave oven, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer. Also a washing machine.
I live on the ground floor, but do not normally have contact with guests. I play the piano for a short time in the evenings, which hopefully does not disturb guests.
The property is very well located for exploring the area, with easy access to the moors, Dalby Forest, the seaside. Also to other places such as Whitby, Filey, York.
