Fernleigh Cottage is an end-terrace cottage, next to the owner's pub on the edge of the village of Allithwaite, two miles from Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands. This cottage sleeps four people in two double bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The cottage also has a kitchen, sitting room with woodburning stove and a summer room with dining area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a small rear patio area with furniture. Fernleigh Cottage is an ideal base for a holiday in the Lake District with the village of Cartmel, seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands and a number of walking and cycling routes in the area. The village of Allithwaite is located close to the Lake District National Park, two miles from both Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands. Allithwaite offers a shop, Post Office and two pubs serving food, whilst the village of Cartmel has streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, traditional pubs and the acclaimed, Michelin Star-awarded L'Enclume restaurant. The Edwardian seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands boasts a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens, a choice of golf courses and bird watching opportunities.
