Enjoy lazy breakfasts and cheeky sundowners in the shared courtyard garden, whilst planning the next day’s adventure. Welcome to your new happy place! Come on in, drop your bags and head to the beach. Everything about the interior at Fifty Steps is designed for easy coastal living. Enter the open plan kitchen, dining and living area which creates a welcoming and sociable space, with doors out to the courtyard for bringing the zones together. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and the seating areas comfortable and relaxing. To either side of the living area are the two bedrooms; to the right, the master room has a luxurious king-sized bed and a contemporary en-suite shower room, and to the left there is a second cozy double room with the family bathroom adjacent, including a bath and a separate shower. Fifty Steps enjoys a gated courtyard where you can relax whilst listening to the sounds of the crashing waves just over the road. Please note that the courtyard is shared with one other apartment (although the furniture is individual). Conveniently located within the Karrek building, there is a restaurant / bar and also a deli shop. The beach is just opposite the building and offers another fantastic cafe which is open all year, and The Pig restaurant is located within walking distance for finer dining.

Adored for it’s gorgeous stretch of golden sands and surrounded by rugged coastline, Harlyn serves as an amazing base for exploring the North Cornish coast and all its hidden gems along the South West Coast Path, with stunning walks via Trevone Bay to Padstow, or around to Mother Iveys and the headland at Trevose. The waves rolling into the bay offer the perfect opportunity of learning to surf, as well as providing ever changing scenery as you soak up the sun on the beach. Harlyn Surf School offers an action packed experience with not just surf lessons but kayaking, paddle boarding and coasteering. Or for golfers, Harlyn is situated just two miles from the championship Trevose Golf & Country Club, a prestigious club offering three courses, suitable for golfers of all standards, with a breathtaking backdrop over the coast. Nestled at the top of the hamlet, within a short walk is The Pig Hotel & Restaurant which offers a superb dining experience. And the village of St Merryn is just a mile away, including Rick Stein’s pub The Cornish Arms, amongst other lovely spots to eat and drink. And just five miles away is the striking harbour town of Padstow, offering stunning scenery, gourmet restaurants, wine bars, galleries, shops and more beaches along the estuary.
