Bring families together in this spacious country cottage which is nestled in the heart of The Yorkshire Dales. Enjoying extensive views across Stags Fell this cottage is ideal for families or larger groups & perfect for walkers & cyclists or those who just want to get away to the Country. Shaw Ghyll Wood provides a tranquil setting. The highest waterfall in England, The Green Dragon Pub and Simonstone Hall Restaurant are all within walking distance. To the North, neighbouring Swaledale can be accessed from the ’Buttertubs Pass’. The local market town of Hawes (1.5 miles away) has a range of shops, pubs and cafes. The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre & Yorkshire Dales Museum are within 1.5 miles. The house sleeps up to 10 adults, bedroom 1 can be a King Size Bed or a Twin Room, bedroom 2 is a Double room, Bedrooms 3,4 and 5 are Twin Rooms. There is a large sitting room which is very spacious which is accessed from the Kitchen through double doors. There is a lovely enclosed private garden which gets the Sun most of the day. There is ample parking for up to 3 cars. Bikes including E-Bikes can be hired from Hawes. Linen and Towels all included.

I live in Simonstone myself and it is a pleasure to host such a spacious cottage in the heart of Wensleydale.

In Simonstone itself there is Simonstone Hall Hotel which has a lovely bar if guests just want a drink or a bar-meal as well as a restaurant for more formal dining. Guests of the cottage can also book the use of Simonstone Hall's outdoor Hot Tub at an additional cost. Within walking distance there is the lovely village of Hardraw which has the highest waterfall in England as well as a cafe and The Green Dragon Pub where the latest season of All Creatures Great & Small is filmed - it serves bar meals and often has Music events on. In the market town of Hawes there are a number of shops, cafes and pubs and Market Day is every Tuesday morning. The Wensleydale Creamery is within 1.5 miles and guests can try a range of cheese, visit the museum and shop or have a bite to eat in the cafe or restaurant.
