The property is exceptionally light and warm, in a green and pleasant location. It has a large, private south facing garden, with a pond, and is planted with palms, bananas, gingers and cannas, giving an exotic feel of a Cornish subtropical garden. It is a wonderful place to sit and soak up the sun or gaze at the stars at night as there is no light pollution. Opposite the property you will enjoy views over a large pond overlooking woodland (new for summer 2023). The property has king size, double and single beds - ideal for a family but equally can be hired by a couple. It has a large open fire, and all new furnishings with original paintings and tasteful decor. Complementary wine, chocolate and biscuits are offered and coffee capsules are also available. There are wonderful garden views from all rooms.

This is an ideal location for a seaside break, walking the shores of Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula. There are plenty of sandy coves in which to stop and picnic, with plenty of coastal walking if you prefer. One of Cornwall’s great beauty spots, Kynance Cove, is nearby (20 minutes drive) an idyllic beach with craggy cliffs set in a turquoise sea. Visit the country’s most southerly point and explore the scenic coves and fishing villages of Mullion, Cadgwith and Porthleven. The wooded creeks on the Helford River offer wonderful sailing and the opportunity for boat hire. There are a number of famous Cornish Gardens in the area. Apart from the hidden coves and fishing villages, St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Falmouth, Lands End, Penzance or the Eden Project are all in easy reach, not to mention Cornwall’s north coast and Poldark county.
