Welcome to our converted egg house, tucked beside a listed cob wall, within the gardens of what was originally a 16th century Devon farmhouse. Walking distance from the river Exe and only a 10 minute drive from Exeter, this is a small quiet village with just a church and popular pub.
We are a very happy professional musician and teacher, with several grown up and nearly grown up children, plus a small friendly dog and some hens. We love living in Devon, particularly exploring Dartmoor and the beautiful beaches on both south and north coasts.
We are only 10 minutes from the cathedral and university city of Exeter, with all its restaurants, shops, culture and historic quayside. There are several National Trust properties in the area and we are well-placed as a stopover on the way to and from Cornwall. The Exe Valley Farmshop is approx. 5 minutes away, as well as the award winning Thorverton Arms and Agricultural Inn.
