Such a beautiful village, with plenty of pubs. The location was perfect for the Macmillan Mighty hike which started in Alnwick. A very stylish renovation with a lovely decor and layout.

High quality accommodation in a great location. Bedroom is similar to a boutique hotel and kitchen and living area are both superbly equipped. The owners have thought of everything and its a real cosy nest. Very clean and comfortable.

The property is excellent. A beautiful little bolt hole with all you could need for a few nights. Wonderful location with the beach a few minutes walk away and pubs / places to eat just along the street. Try Bistro 23 for wonderful food.

Managing our one property very quickly grew to helping others manage their own properties, and now we have a high-quality selection of homes across the UK, and every month we seem to be growing. Our focus is always ensuring you have the most enjoyable and hassle-free trip. Our properties are in some of our favourite places, so we have loads of local recommendations for you. We are based in Yorkshire and Glasgow, but we have local teams by each of our properties who are all great and more than happy to help should you need it! Garden Stable is a modern yet characterful cottage in the heart of Alnmouth, a much-loved coastal village. Renovated and furnished to a high standard, it’s the perfect couples’ getaway for exploring the Northumberland Coast. Enjoy a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, Smart TV, WiFi, a comfortable king-sized bed and a stylish shower room, all within easy walking distance of the beach and local eateries. Ground Floor As you enter Garden Stable, you'll walk into a raised hallway area with stairs rising to your right to the first floor and two small steps that descend into the lounge area to the left. Behind the staircase, you'll find a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need for a perfect home from experience, including an integrated fridge, dishwasher, single oven and hob, microwave and coffee machine. In the lounge area, you'll find a Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix, a snug sofa, a comfortable armchair, a stereo, and plenty of books to read during your stay. Double patio doors from the lounge area lead out into a private garden. First Floor As you ascend the flight of stairs, you'll be greeted with a welcoming king-sized bed with luxury linens and towels. The owners have made sure everything in this cottage has been finished to the most luxurious of standards, so you can ensure you'll have the most comfortable stay and a restful night's sleep. An internal door leads into a fully functional En-Suite wet room with a toilet, wash hand basin and shower. Outdoor: The private outdoor area can be entered down the side just past the front entrance or the double patio doors from the lounge area. With a private patio area with a bistro set, it is the perfect spot to relax and unwind on a summer's evening after exploring the local area. Parking: Garden Stable is one of four properties on the complex and has four car park spaces within the courtyard, one space per property.

Garden Stable is located in the centre of the charming coastal village of Alnmouth. Only four miles from Alnwick, this part of Northumberland is my personal favourite, recognised as Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of golden sandy beaches and a varied array of wildlife, you’ll struggle to believe you’re in the UK! Within walking distance from Garden Stable you’ll find a large selection of quirky independent shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants as well as many spots to grab an ice cream. Close to the medieval market town of Alnwick, with cobbled streets and rich in character and charm, there are plenty of things to see during your visit. Alnwick hosts some of the country’s top attractions including Alnwick castle, which was one of the locations for the Harry Potter film franchise. Or head to Alnwick gardens and dine at the world’s largest treehouse restaurant!
