Property information

WELCOME to Glyndley Manor Cottages. Our holiday cottages offer ideal self-catering holiday accommodation for those wishing to take a break and visit the historic East Sussex countryside. Situated on the Glyndley Manor Estate, we are a small distance from the South Downs National Park, 6 miles north of Eastbourne and about 20 miles east of Brighton and within 1.5 miles of Polegate train station on the east side of the B2104 road between Hailsham and Stone Cross. Glyndley Manor is a beautiful, historic country house surrounded by parkland and gardens. Within the grounds of the estate is access to a lake. Fishing on the lake is available for which an EA rod license is required. Dogs are welcome in some cottages. We provide a self-service launderette and drying area and an Information Centre and Free Wi-Fi. A swimming pool is also available for use during the summer months -There must be a minimum of 2 people present, at all times. The cottages are frequently used by guests attending Christian events at the Manor. They are available for rent throughout the year and make an ideal base from which to explore one of the most attractive and historic parts of the south coast of England.

The iconic cliffs of Seven Sisters Country Park and the woodland beauty of Ashdown Forest are just a short drive away. Step straight from our grounds onto local footpaths leading to the Cuckoo Trail – a peaceful route ideal for countryside walks or leisurely bike rides. And when you arrive, do pop into our on-site Visitor Centre, where you’ll find helpful leaflets, maps, and inspiration for planning your local adventures. Whether you're here to ramble, cycle, or simply unwind, you're in the right place.
