Built in 1904, this wonderful property is on the doorstep of Manchester United. If you are a Manchester City fan, Old Trafford tram station is only a 10 minute walk and from there you can travel direct to the Etihad Stadium. Football not your thing? Fancy a bit of cricket? The same 10 minute stroll through the park takes you to Old Trafford’s world-famous Lancashire County Cricket Ground.
This beautiful, spacious 3-double bed property sleeps 7 (2x Kingsize beds & a double with a single bunk).
Host Availability
The host lives close by and is available by text/phone for queries, however you can check in and out using the lockbox.
Should you wish to have assistance getting to know the area, there are also pretty canal walks into the city or up to Sale and Altrincham and the host can be booked to guide you.
If you are feeling more energetic book in with the host for a cycling trip along the canal up to the RHS Bridgewater, an award-winning garden, shop and café. Hire bikes are available near the property. This is a relaxing and fun way to clock-up 18 miles on a sunny afternoon, whilst avoiding the traffic. Be prepared for a some tree roots on the canal path, which can be a little bumpy.
Alternatively, a you may book a hosted walk to Media City with a stop off at Manchester United, the Imperial War Museum North and Lowry Theatre and Exhibition Centre.
