The Cricket, Bowls, Croquet, Tennis, and Rugby clubs are also within walking distance as is the public swimming pool. Ada is on the first floor and sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Jula on the ground floor sleeps 2/4 with one bedroom, bathroom, separate WC and sofa bed. Subject to availability the two can be booked together for larger groups. The apartments are tastefully furnished with double glazed windows and have full gas central heating, well equipped kitchens and bathrooms, high speed Wi-Fi, and smart flat screen TVs. They are as well suited for winter getaways as they are for your summer vacation. Subject to registration, each apartment rental includes one virtual parking permit covering 11 East Devon Towns (subject to the normal short/long stay limits) which makes exploring the local area easy. There is on street parking/loading bays outside the property to facilitate loading and unloading your car. Sidmouth long term car park is on Manor Road 15 minutes walk from Goviers Cottage. Sidmouth is 11 miles from Exeter Airport, 9 miles from Honiton Railway Station, 13 miles from M5 junction 30. The history of the building is displayed throughout the property. Ada apartment – is named after the founder of the China Shop which opened in 1904 and Jula apartment is named after her Granddaughter Jula who decorated ceramics on the premises in the 1950s and 60s.
