Hob Lane Farm Cottage is a renovated stone barn tucked away on hob lane, nestled in the Ewden valley above High Bradfield. The cottage has one large king size bedroom with a T.V and beautiful views of the moors and valley forest. Please google us to book direct at a lower cost. The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds which can be made into one large king size bed upon request. Interiors are a mixture of old and new, art work, a cosy fire, lots of lamps, rugs and throws for afternoons spent on the sofa. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of utensils, a dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen table/chairs. The sitting room is the first room to welcome guests via a stable door. It is spacious with an electric fire, T.V, large barn window, sofas and a large ottoman. From the sitting room there are two steps leading up into the kitchen. There is one bathroom with an electric shower, bath and complementary towels for your stay. Guests tell us that the cottage is beautiful, perfectly located and a gem within the Peak Park. They love the interiors and the mix of traditional and contemporary.

We are a family of four with far too many animals, including horses, dogs, a cat, and hens. Hob Lane Farm is very much our focus as we embark upon our third year in this beautiful place we are lucky enough to call home. Guests tell us that we're friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Hob Lane Farm feels remote which is lovely but it only takes 20 minutes to get into Sheffield City Centre and 30 minutes to Chatsworth House and Gardens. Made for those who love the outdoors we're rural with country lanes, stone walls, farms, animals and rambling country hills. The beautiful High/Low Bradfield is roughly 1.5 miles. There you will find great walks, reservoirs, country pubs, a post office and village green (there's always a cricket match to watch). Further a field guests can enjoy shopping at Fox Valley or Meadowhall, or head into Sheffield to catch a show at the theatre. There are many top rated restaurants and a vibrant night life to be enjoyed. We are within easy reach of Ponds Forge and are a favourite option for many swimming families. We also welcome lots of families visiting Sheffield University which is a short and easy drive away. We welcome a maximum of two dogs at a separate charge to the host upon arrival of ten pounds per dog per night. Dogs can only be left alone if in a cage.
