Property information
Fernhill Heights is a development of holiday homes within the beautiful grounds of Fernhill Hotel, on the Jurassic Coast section of the SW Coast Path with lovely walks into Charmouth, Lyme Regis and beyond.
Stay right on the South West coast path between Lyme Regis and Charmouth, the Jurassic Coast - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The space
You will enter the property into a spacious, open-plan living space with kitchen/diner to the rear.
The living area has two comfortable leather sofas and a lovely wood burner which makes an ideal focal point for colder evenings after days spent exploring the Jurassic Coast. There is also a Smart TV with Freeview and a DVD player.
To the rear of the ground floor is the double bedroom and a good-sized bathroom with a large walk-in shower (no bath). This bedroom has a TV with a DVD player and ample storage to unpack your things and make yourselves at home.
Upstairs, the stairwell opens straight into the loft room, this bedroom is spacious and bright and can accommodate 3 guests with one double and one single bed.
Guest access
Guests will have the entire property to themselves.
There is ample parking available outside the property.
The Pool:
The Hotel Swimming Pool will normally be open seasonally between 10am-7pm daily.
Non-residents may book a 50min slot the day before/on the day, by calling the hotel reception between 10am-12pm and making a payment of two pounds per person (adult or child).
Maximum 1 slot per household per day. Bookable by phone only. Phones will be switched off outside these times or when the allocation is full.
Neighbourhood information
Lyme Regis & Charmouth are among the most popular destinations on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Coastline. Award-winning beaches, restaurants, and many independent shops, galleries, and eateries can all be enjoyed in Lyme Regis.
Supermarkets:
Charmouth has a Nisa convenience store along with a Pharmacy and a bakery.
Tesco Express and Co-Op can be found in Lyme Regis.
Bridport (about 8 miles East) has a Morrisons and a Lidl, there are larger Tesco stores in Axminster and Seaton (about 10 miles away).

Tom’s - Seafood with amazing views of the sea (Lyme Regis).
The Strawberry Tree - Tapas (Lyme Regis).
SWIM - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, right on the seafront (Lyme Regis)..
Attractions:
The Marine Theatre - live music and performance in Lyme.
Symonsbury Estate - 1500 acres of Dorset countryside and ancient woodlands. Home of the iconic Colmers Hill (accessible from their free car park). The visitor centre has shops, a gallery and a cafe.
Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens - Magnificent Victorian walled garden set in 30 acres of woodland valley, with a childrens play area, nature trail and coffee shop.
Bridport market - Wednesday and Saturday from 8am to mid-afternoon.
Beer Quarry Caves -just over the border into East Devon a vast network of underground caverns created from centuries of quarrying Beer stone.
Seaton wetlands - a beautiful area of marshland and reedbeds in the estuary of the River Axe, within the East Devon AONB.
