A charming oak Shepard's Hut, situated on a 2 acre small holding in the heart of the New Forest. We run a brewery (PIG BEER) with beer garden on site. We play ambient music from 12pm up until 8:30pm in the summer. Check out @pigbeerco for current opening hours. Escape to the New Forest with a stay at our "Hut in the Forest," located at the PIG BEER Brewery in Setley. This Shepherd's Hut, clad in waney edge oak, offers a cozy retreat for a romantic getaway or a solo escape. The hut overlooks fields, with the closest one used as a parking area by the brewery during the day. This area is usually empty and quiet later in the evenings. The field in the distance is often visited by wild deer that live in the forest surrounding the brewery. Although private, the Shepard Hut backs onto our garden, and is located directly next to the brewery beer garden. Important Notes: • Small Space: The hut is a small space with limited clothing storage. Please pack accordingly. • Accessibility: Due to the layout and access to the bed, the hut may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

We have an excellent farm shop and vineyard next door, and a good pub (The Filly) within 2 minutes walk. Setley is based 2 minutes drive outside of Brockenhurst. We're 20 minutes from Highcliffe Beach, and 5 minutes from Lymington.
