Hytheview Cottage is a simple traditional fishermans cottage approximately 60 metres from the sea in the village of Whitehills, near Banff on the Moray Coast. The property is split over two floors with a downstairs bathroom. Please note the single bedroom is suitable for children of ten years old or under due to its small size.
We live in the village and will be around to answer any questions you may have to make your stay more enjoyable.
The village has an excellent local shop, takeaway and cafe. There is a good pub with restaurant and a local chip shop. There is ample opportunity for paddleboarding, birdwatching, boat and fishing trips in the area. There are two golf courses in the vicinity and of course we are near both the castle and whisky trails. The local coastal villages are worth a stroll around, they all have their own character. There are many options for day trips with a larger range of shopping available in the historical town of Elgin or a trip on a heritage railway at Dufftown may appeal.
