Surrounded by picturesque countryside and farmland we offer fully equipped self catering accommodation. Badgers Rest has been newly refurbished and includes a sizeable living area, kitchen and dining area, double and twin bedrooms* and a shower room. A separate side entrance leads to a secluded outdoor furnished terrace, where you can enjoy the lovely views and spot local wildlife. Badgers Rest is ideal for families, as there is a dedicated fenced and gated outdoor area for children to play in. From here you can visit the historic city of Norwich, explore the County’s many tranquil waterways by boat, or take a trip to some of the most beautiful and renowned beaches and coastal areas in the country. We are located 2 miles outside of the pretty village of Loddon. Here you will find a great selection of pubs, restaurants, cafés, and takeaways, as well as local conveniences. There are two public footpaths located adjacent to the house and multiple walks locally. There are also plenty of attractions for the children, including Bewilderwood, Africa Alive, Banham Zoo, Great Yarmouth Sealife Centre and amusements, Thrigby hall wildlife park, Thetford Forest Go Ape... and many more! * For further guests there is a pull out double bed with bedding

Badgers Rest is in an idyllic setting nestled amongst the countryside. It is a beautiful area and only 2 miles from Loddon Village, and 7 miles from the Market Towns of Bungay and Beccles. We are 11 miles to the bustling City of Norwich, which offers many pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars. Norwich offers a superb shopping experience from high end department stores to the marketplace, which has many eateries offering delicious cuisine to cater for all tastes. There is a bus service (X22) from Loddon to Norwich, which runs throughout the day, including the weekend. To make the best of your stay we recommend that you have access to a vehicle.
