Great location- quiet street, close to the park, close to shops and take aways. Really great. The house itself has lots of personality and was very charming. Also, despite it being an older house, we barely heard any noise from the street...

A fabulous stay right in the centre of Chester, location couldn't be better. Despite being so close to the centre, the street was very quiet which was nice. Lovely property, lovely hosts and I would happily stay again. Highly recommended.

Immerse yourself in Chester's history by staying in this beautiful period property, built by Chester's famous architect, John Douglas in 1903! This characterful and stylish townhouse is in the heart of Chester and walking distance to all of Chester's historical attractions. * 2 minutes to the town centre and Grosvenor Park, leading to the River Dee * 5 minute walk to the Roman Amphitheatre, Roman Gardens and many restaurants Situated on a quiet street, Bath Street is the perfect stay! Downstairs at no.3 Bath Street is a spacious lounge and dining area. After a long day exploring relax on the L-shaped sofa, TV on (Netflix included) or grab a cuppa and a book to relax in the cosy snug in the window. Whether you want to cook up a feast in the well equipped kitchen or get a takeaway delivered to your door, the dining area is a lovely setting to enjoy your culinary delights. Take advantage of the outdoor space, have a pre dinner drink or dine al fresco. Upstairs you will find a spacious main bedroom with king bed and chest of drawers. The second bedroom fits a small double, chest of drawers and hanging rail. There is a cupboard in the hall for more hanging room.
Welcome to Bath Street! I have been hosting stays for 6 years, during this time I have learnt what guests like to expect from a property holiday letting. It is very satisfying to help people make the most of their stay in Chester, offering them a fantastic base to stay and sharing our local knowledge.
Bath Street is a beautiful row of terraced housing dating back to 1903 designed by local architect John Douglas. Capturing the character of this period property yet offering a stylish and restful stay. The location is fantastic with everything that you will want to see and do within close proximity by foot. The bonus of this central location is that it is situated at the end of town, the actual street is quiet, it does not get much foot fall as it does not have any bars or restaurants on it, a peaceful nights sleep. The beautiful Grosvenor Park is a couple of minutes walk from Bath Street which leads you down to The Groves, where you can catch the boat for a tour of the River Dee. For those more energetic you can hire a rowing boat or pedalo, or take a motor-boat for an easy option! An ice-cream from one of the local Cheshire companies is a must! Grosvenor Park is home to The Storyhouse summer performances in the park and if you are here with a little one, the miniature railway is a must! The Roman Amphitheatre and Gardens are a five minute walk, well worth a visit to soak in some of Chester's history. Chester has a great food/drink scene, explore and enjoy!
