The cottage is a lovely nineteenth century stone built cottage oosing with charm and character. There are beams, open fireplaces and a wood burning stove (non working). Wooden floor boards and original ledge and brace doors with penny hinges. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - the king size has an ‘And so to Bed’ headboard. One single is an ‘And so to Bed’ ‘Tree of Life’ bed and the other bedroom has a Laura Ashley antiqued cream wooden bed. Downstairs is the lounge with its Laura Ashley leather sofa, the bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen has all modern conveniences and a Laura Ashley Oak dining table.
We are passionate about the Lake District and all it has to offer. We are keen climbers and spend a lot of time in the Lake District and further a field perusing our hobby. We hope you enjoy your stay in the Lake District and are you sure you will fall in love with the area :)
Lindale is a lovely little village and a great place to base yourself. Lindale has a great pub which serves wonderful food. There is a great small shop which sells all the essentials. There is a fantastic children’s play ground for football, swings and skateboarding. We are close to Grange over Sands which has larger shops, restaurants, cafes and a lovely promenade to walk. We are only a short 10 minute drive to Lake Windermere. Lindale is a fantastic place to base yourself to explore the beautiful Lake District.
