The property has an ideal position, located within walking distance of both Tynemouth and North Shields, the beautiful Northumberland Park is literally at the bottom of the street, and for those golfers, Tynemouth golf course is only a few hundred yards away, the North Shields Fish Quay is also easily accessible, the local Tyne and Wear Metro stop is within walking distance, offering access into Newcastle city centre and a host of other locations. The local Metro stations of Tynemouth and North Shields are both within walking distance and bus routes are easily accessible, Newcastle, city centre is approximately a 25 minute journey on the Metro North Shields is on the north bank of the River Tyne and is a working fishing port. The Fish Quay has an array of culinary delights with lots of good restaurants to choose from. There is also the option to eat al fresco with fresh fish and chips, while sitting and overlooking the Tyne, watching the vessels pass by. The Old Low Light, once used as a means for navigating ships back into the Tyne, is now a facility run by volunteers celebrating the history and heritage of the area.
