A two bedroom spacious traditional cottage adapted for modern living in Drumnadrochit by Loche Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. It is less than a mile from the village centre with restaurants, shops and a supermarket. It features views over rural areas, a communal garden, a flat screen TV, free access to Wifi and free parking. There is easy access to the well know Urquhart Castle, walks including the Great Glen Way, boat trips on Loch Ness and other attractions in the area including Inverness, Fort Augustus and Fort William. It is also a great place from which to explore Glen Affric and the surrounding Munros.
Simon and Gina live about 25 minuites away and are professional property hosts managing a number of properties across the Highlands. Our passion is to make sure that you get the most out of your stay. Please feel free to contact us with any queries you may have or for ideas of things to do. Both of us spend our spare time exploring the Highlands and we truly love the area in which we live.
Places of interest in the area including where to eat... Loch Ness Inn. Highly recommended eatery and bar. Lots of local suppliers. They also provide a courtesy pick up and drop off service. Open all year round. • Benleva Hotel restaurant and bar, open all year round. • Urquart Castle. Probably the busiest tourist attraction in the area with easy access by car. • Fiddlers bar restaurant and food truck. This business is seasonal but highly recommend the Fish and chips from the food truck. The bar has an excellent selection of beers, gins and whiskies. • Within the courtyard next to Fiddlers there are a number of shops selling confectionery, and gifts.
