Friendly welcome, beautiful location right on top of the moor out of Warland near Todmorden. Character cottage, small but comfortable and homely. You cross the Rochdale canal to access the farm track up to the cottage, very picturesque and access...

Karen was very friendly and our grandchildren loved the freedom. Feeding the horses with carrots looking at the pig's and chickens

The cottage is really nice and comfy. I had everything I needed. The plumbing is a little noisy but everything works perfectly well. The road to get to the cottage may be challenging for new drivers. I liked it.

The location, the quirky arrangement of a small stone house and the view. So many thoughtful items left for us to use.

It is a little stone built cottage up on the hills. The house was really warm and thoughtfully supplied with everything we needed. We really enjoyed ourselves: the fabulous views, the house and the very warm welcome.

A cosy 16th Century cottage set in a secluded location on the Rochdale Way, with footpath access onto the Pennine Way, perfect for anyone who enjoys fell running, walking or mountain biking, which can start straight from the front door. A perfect place to get away from it all. Surrounded by beautiful views across open hillsides. Visit Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and Haworth. A lovely place to retire to at the end of the day. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity. Wi-Fi, Sky TV, on site parking.
We will normally be around on the farm but on the rare occasions we are away, we will leave contact details.
If you love walking, fell running, mountain biking or just cosy nights in after a day visiting local attractions you are choosing the right place. With stunning external panoramic views and instant access onto footpaths and trails. If you fancy some wild swimming, Gaddings Damn is a must. The Pennine Way is easily accessible. The Rochdale Canal provides lovely walks or runs in either direction and is a stroll down the hill from the cottage. With Walsden train station 2 miles away your destinations are endless. Buses run past the bottom of the lane regularly to Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Rochdale, Halifax etc. Hebden Bridge and Haworth are a 'must see' if you like characterful villages. Manchester and Leeds are easily accessible by train.
