This site is our retirement project. Nothing is too much trouble for us. We go above and beyond for our guests. It is a very secluded site and sort of in the middle of nowhere but Boston is only 7 miles away and the Seaside resort of Skegness is only 12 miles away. The nearest pub and CO OP, also a fish and chip shop is just under 1 mile away. We are only a few miles away from the East Coast Line - with marshes and Nature Reserves over looking The Wash. Our site featured on Grand Designs TV programme in SEPT 2019. All your troubles just disappear when you arrive. The calming beauty of the lake is inspiring. We don’t look on this as a business, but a ‘home from home’. It is our secretive safe haven, nestled nicely in-between Boston and Skegness in a peaceful surrounding – there is no traffic or noise apart from the occasional Spitfire or Lancaster flying by, combine harvesters in the surrounding fields and dogs barking, horses and donkeys neighing and wildlife noise in general. The open skies and flat land, with no buildings in sight, makes star gazing phenomenal! Please note that our fishing village and cabin site are for adults only, no children or pets are allowed

Our Log Cabins have the wooden rustic, peaceful ambience vibe. All cabins overlap the lake and have very large verandas with 2 gates to fish off from. Benches and tables are on each veranda and there are extra benches, table and chairs dotted around the site for you to use. Every cabin has extra wide doors and soundproof windows and doors. Every bed is comfortable and are provided with fresh, clean linen. Towels are also provided free of charge. Every cabin has a clear-view log burner (logs are not provided 1st July-sept 20th), full kitchen, dining area including dining table and chairs, large walk in shower, large sofas, 50” flat screen TV, free wifi and Netflix. NO LIVE BAIT ALLOWED INSIDE CABINS NO CHILDREN NO PETS EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN FISH STRAIGHT FROM YOUR VERANDA, SOME GUESTS FIND IT TOO HIGH, ESPECIALLY DUE TO THE DROUGHT AS WATER LEVELS CAN BE LOW, SO YOU CAN FISH ANYWHERE AROUND THE 3 ACRE LAKE. We are in the middle of nowhere but only 7 miles from Boston town center and 12 miles from Skegness seaside resort. Our site was featured on the TV show Grand Designs in September 2019. Set in 16 acres, our rustic log cabins are overlapping the 3 acres lake one end and the grand design house is situated the other end of the lake. Fishing is allowed day and night. Fish straight from your veranda. Cosy and comfy with beautiful view of the lake. The stars are so bright making excellent stargazing.
