Property information

Larch Cottage is a lovely detached holiday property, sitting on a hillside overlooking Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, near Dunoon, Argyll. It’s one of four situated within a small holiday development called Stronchullin. With lovely views, it sleeps six people in three bedrooms. On the ground floor there’s a spacious open-plan sitting room and dining area with oak flooring and a wood-burning stove. From the lounge there’s a patio door leading out to large deck and garden with magnificent views – the perfect spot for an evening drink. The upgraded kitchen complete with dishwasher has everything you could need, including a breakfast bar for casual meals. There’s also an newly upgraded shower room and a double bedroom downstairs. Upstairs there’s a modern bedroom with a double and single bed and a single bedroom. Included in the price are all fuel costs, bed linen and towels. There is a shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer on site. Outside seating is provided on a new deck area where you can relax and soak in the Argyll scenery and enjoy alfresco drinks and dining or enjoy a barbecue in the gardens. The holiday cottages a has an idyllic setting.

Set in Argyll Forest Park, Larch Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the whole of Argyll, with Oban, Bute, Inveraray and Portavadie Marina all within day-trip distance. There’s a lively arts scene around this area, as well as endless opportunities for outdoor fun – from kayaking in the sheltered waters to walking in the woods. Blairmore itself is a picturesque village located on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Blairmore lies within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is situated on the western shore of Loch Long and approximately one mile north of Strone, and 11 miles from Dunoon.
