We are Fran & Steve. Fun and sociable people who have lived in the West Country for 25 years now. We were born in Hampshire. Our favourite place is Lyme Regis where we live so close to. We enjoy walking into our seaside town , visiting the pubs and restaurants and fishing from our boat. We love our holidays overseas. We own a building firm and I work in the office whist Steve is the big boss out in the field.

The countryside village of Uplyme sits 1.5 miles from Lyme Regis in East Devon. We have a local pub The Talbot arms, a petrol station with a post office and shop for any essentials required. A village hall where various activities and events take place. There is a bus service if you do not want to drive. The Jurassic coast is a fabulous area to visit. Lyme Regis has a lovely small high street , is packed full of restaurants and eateries and cafes and has a huge beach area including a sandy beach. Just walk out of your garden gate and follow the river Lym walk and 25 minutes later you arrive into Lyme Regis.
