In the village of Broadwell in the heart of the Forest of Dean , Long Lane cottage, is an old miners cottage that sleeps 4. It has 2 bedrooms that can configure either singles or super king beds in either room. Wood burner with fire side snug chairs and a cozy front room snug. It has amazing forest walks and bike trails on your doorstep . Long Lane cottage is also dog friendly and allows 2 of your furry friends to stay . Please note the cottage is over 150 years old, even though a short flight the cottage stairs are steep however their are hand rails either side for safety .
We do not live on site however we will message you contact numbers for any help during your stay as we are local to the area.
Broadwell is a small village about 1.5 miles east of Coleford, Gloucestershire, England. It is at the western edge of the Forest of Dean. We have a local general store 0.5 miles from the house , 2 pubs within a Mile’s walk and the town of Coleford 1.5 miles away . With so many Forest of Dean attractions and places to visit on your doorstep . - Forest walks directly from the house with a secure free dog field within 1 mile from the property . - Puzzlewood 2.2 miles - Perrygrove Railway attraction 2 miles - Coleford Great Western railway 1.4 miles - Forest Hill’s Golf Club 0.5 miles - Clearwell Caves 2.3 miles - Symonds Yat Rock which is part of the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural beauty 2.8 miles - beautiful town of Monmouth .. the gateway to Wales 8 miles - The historic town of Ross on Wye 10 miles - Historic cathedral City of Gloucester 20 miles - The famous spa town of Cheltenham 26 miles
