Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of properties throughout the region. From the start we were determined to build up a reputation for offering only the best of properties. The company has grown, but everyone involved still holds true to the combination of commitment and professionalism that is the foundation of the company's success. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

Longtail is a charming cottage located in the heart of Sidmouth town centre within a short level walk of the lovely individual shops, restaurants, pubs and of course the beach with its long esplanade. The cottage has been completely refurbished to a very high standard with quality furnishings and tasteful colour schemes throughout. The owner has given much time and care to provide a top-quality holiday cottage which is a real delight to spend time in at any time of year. The owners leave a welcome gift containing local produce for you on arrival. ACCOMMODATION: A comfortably furnished living room with feature fireplace and gas wood-effect stove and TV with Freeview Play. Good sized dining area with Oak table and leather seated chairs. A very well equipped kitchen with granite worktops and the whole range of quality appliances and equipment you would expect. The back door leads to a really pretty enclosed rear courtyard with patio table and chairs, a real sun-trap for the afternoon and evening sun. From the kitchen, stairs lead to the first floor Bedroom 1: A beautiful and spacious double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a small TV/DVD. Bathroom: The bathroom is fitted with a shower over a shaped bath, an Edwardian style WC and handbasin. Bedroom 2: On the second floor there is another spacious twin bedroom with lovely views to front and rear over the rooftops towards Peak Hill and Salcombe Hill. This room does have some sloping ceilings! Games and a wide selection of books are available along with other little treats. PARKING: For bookings confirmed after 10th July 2023 there is a private parking space for one car. If you are looking at the front door for Longtail the parking is on the left hand side behind the stone wall. It is the second space in. This is the what 3 words location purple.mini.sizes. We have a range of holiday cottages in Sidmouth, with its abundance of independent shops it is well worth a visit, whilst the esplanade overlooks the picturesque and tranquil beach. Towards the western end of the promenade an area of sand is uncovered at low tide, along with rock pools perfect for adventures with the kids. A short walk around the pathway under the red sandstone cliffs you can find Jacobs Ladder which offers a mile of sandy beach at low tide and colourful beach huts. Climb up Jacobs Ladder to find Connaught Gardens, here there is the most wonderful café offering the biggest homemade cakes you have ever seen! Each Sunday evening throughout the summer you can sit and watch the Sidmouth Town Band play. The town and the seafront offer a wide range of activities including Paddleboarding & Kayaking, while quiet serenity can be enjoyed in the town’s gardens and outskirts.
