Set on a street famed for its pastel-coloured homes, our pretty pink terrace with its bright blue door offers a unique and stylish escape for those who appreciate comfort, character, and the sound of the sea. 🛑 Please note: The cottage features steep stairs and a rope staircase, so it's best suited for guests aged 12 and over. If you're travelling with younger children, feel free to message us to discuss suitability. 🌸 The Space Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a carefully curated interior that blends laid-back luxury with thoughtful design. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space is filled with natural light and calming tones. 🍳 Kitchen – Fully equipped and beautifully hand-built, complete with a pink Lacanche range cooker, Nespresso machine, wine cooler, dishwasher, Smeg appliances, large fridge-freezer, and even a washing machine. 🛋️ Lounge & Dining – A large handmade Loaf sofa invites you to kick back in front of a modern flame-effect fire or stream your favourites on the smart TV (with Netflix and more). Built-in speakers let you enjoy music throughout the house. Dine in or grab a takeaway from one of Appledore’s acclaimed restaurants just a short walk away. 🌊 Estuary Views – Glass doors open from the living area onto a small patio with dramatic views across one of England’s deepest estuaries. Enjoy sunrise coffees or sunset wines with nothing but the sounds of nature. 🛌 Master Suite – Occupying the top floor, this dreamy space features a large Loaf bed with an Emma mattress and White Company topper. Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m a busy working single parent who loves escaping to the coast whenever possible. When we found this pretty pink cottage in Appledore, we knew it had something truly special. Over the course of a year, we poured our hearts into renovating and decorating it, transforming it into the perfect space to relax, recharge, and Dream by the Water. This isn’t just a holiday home — it’s our special retreat, created with care, comfort, and a genuine love of beautiful, welcoming spaces. We hope you’ll feel just as at home here as we do.

What I love most about Appledore is its perfect blend of history, charm, and natural beauty. The village is steeped in maritime heritage, with winding streets, colourful houses, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. I can spend hours wandering around the quay, watching the boats go by, and soaking in the peaceful views of the River Torridge estuary. The surrounding area is equally captivating. There’s something magical about the changing tides, the endless walking paths, and the fresh sea air. Whether it's exploring the nearby beaches, enjoying the scenic coastal walks, or discovering hidden gems in nearby towns like Westward Ho! or Instow, there’s always something new to experience.
