Escape to our gorgeous bespoke shepherd hut, tucked away in the corner of a field on our farm, just a stone's throw from Modbury. Toast marshmallows on the fire pit and sip wine under the stars. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and the glorious views of the South Hams countryside and Dartmoor. Our luxury, well equipped hut is only 20 minutes from some fabulous beaches and coastal walks and just a short drive for some rugged hiking on Dartmoor. The hut is beautifully fitted out with all the luxuries you could wish for an enjoyable stay. A comfortable bed with feather duvet and crisp cotton bedlinen, folds away to reveal the beautiful oak table and seating furnished with sheepskins creating the perfect place to snuggle up with a hot chocolate, board games or a good book on those cooler evenings. The hand-built kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, induction hob, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. The stylish Everhot stove will not only keep you warm and cosy but is also a small oven to heat through croissants for breakfast! The ensuite shower/wc is complete with complimentary toiletries and thick, fluffy towels. Outside is a fire pit/bbq and picnic table.

The Shepherd Hut at Little Sheepham, is perfectly situated equidistant between the fabulous South Devon coast and glorious Dartmoor so for those of you who find it difficult to decide whether to go for a country holiday or a coastal holiday, this is perfect; you can have both! Our pretty local town of Modbury has a Co-op, butchers and delicatessen and is a lovely place to wander and explore the interesting shops, galleries, cafes and pubs. Treat yourself to coffee and cake at one of the cafes or visit the ancient Exeter Inn for lunch. Spend time at our favourite beaches, Wonwell and Mothecombe ( 15 minutes away) and Bantham and Bigbury Beaches are 20 minutes away. Take a river trip from the beautiful coastal town of Dartmouth is only 25 minutes drive away. The pretty harbour town of Salcombe is a mere 20 minutes drive with its ferries to the beaches and many restaurants and cafes.Visit Totnes with its eclectic collection of shops and Friday market. Take a short drive to Dartmoor but watch out for the ponies, sheep and cattle that roam free! There are some outstanding walks for all abilities and lovely villages to visit and great cafes, farmshops and pubs to enjoy.
