Marian Cottage is a lovely 2 bedroom terrace cottage with a wood burning stove and AGA. It offers a traditional feel with a modern twist. The accommodation offers a comfortable king size bed and a double bed. The cottage is no smoking but you can enjoy a cigarette on the patio. Please respect this and do not smoke in the cottage. The Cottage is conveniently located at the top of Ingleton High Street and you can park on the road outside. There is excellent free wifi. Guests report that they enjoy the powerful modern shower and the easy to use, beautiful AGA. The loo is downstairs in the property. A starter pack of wood for the wood burner is provided. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a small fee of fifteen pounds per dog payable please on arrival. The cottage dates from the 1850s and there is an open, small, patio out the back. Bedding, towels, hairdryers etc are provided. Woodburner starter kit is provided.
Sandra and Dave have two kids and love to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life to this cosy cottage and the peace and quiet of the countryside. We welcome well-behaved dogs to the cottage and please note there is a small charge per dog per stay of fifteen pounds payable on arrival. Unfortunately this platform does not allow for this to be paid upon booking the property. There is a strict policy that dogs be kept downstairs and off the furniture. A temporary gate is provided to assist. We appreciate the importance of holiday time and strive to offer guests a warm welcome and cosy environment. It is very important to us that the cottage is cleaned to a high standard and we seek to reflect the quality of stay that we would look forward to on a holiday. We are happy to help with anything that might crop up on or before your holiday.
Marian Cottage is in the perfect location to explore the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales and nearby Lake District. It is walking distance to the foot of Ingleborough and a short drive from Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent which form the Three Peaks. The cottage is perfectly placed for local shops and pubs bars and restaurants, all a stones throw from the cottage. The Mason's Arms is just one of the local pubs we recommend in the village. The Waterfalls Walk is walking distance as is the superb children's park by the river. Guests love the open air swimming pool (open during summer please check dates).There is a climbing wall in the village and a recently opened BMX pump track. We are blessed with wonderful neighbours on either side, in fact the row of terraces is an old-fashioned community in its own right with the families having lived there for generations.
