Take time to relax at this countryside thatched cottage, situated in the picturesque village of West Stafford, with plentiful walks and a very well regarded pub on the doorstep. Ideally located just a short five minute drive into the County town of Dorchester or 20 minutes from the coast. This three bedroom cottage is a great base for exploring Dorset all year round. The village of West Stafford is well known for its peaceful setting, with countryside walks in abundance. There is also a very highly recommended local pub just a few steps from the cottage front door! Once inside, Martie Cottage is cosy and welcoming with an open plan cottage kitchen and dining room complete with AGA stove and large patio doors opening out to the sunny rear garden. There is a dining table for four people, SMEG fridge / freezer and ceramic sink along with everything else you'll need to enjoy cooking on holiday. Through to the living room, which benefits from many of the original features, including exposed ceiling beams, the original bread oven and a wood burning stove for the cooler months. Accommodating five people, in three bedrooms all on the first floor, Martie Cottage is an ideal base for a family or for two couples. Overlooking the garden is the master bedroom, with stylish décor and King size bed. Also on this side of the cottage is the second bedroom, with built in wardrobe and double bed. Just across the hallway is the single bedroom, and family bathroom. There is also a useful utility room on the ground floor, complete with a Belfast sink, washing machine and W.C. The garden is lawned and enclosed; ideal for pets and children, with a seating area and easy gated access from the private parking space. Pets welcome!

The picturesque village of West Stafford is a fantastic place to visit all year round, with a very well-regarded local gastro pub, a village green and close proximity to local attractions, there is lots to see on the doorstep!
