With easy access to stunning walking and cycling routes, this property is ideal for couples looking for a rural escape. On arrival, you will find off-road parking before making your way into the cottage. Inside, you'll find a stylish kitchen adorned with an anthracite and gold colour scheme and modern appliances, perfect for whipping up delicious dinners with friends. The open-plan living area features a wood-burning stove, plush corner sofa and smart television with Netflix included. Head upstairs and you'll find two mezzanine-style double bedrooms, complete with bespoke built-in wardrobes and shelving units. One bedroom enjoys its own contemporary en-suite shower room boasting a rainfall style shower. The outside patio/terrace provides plenty of options for soaking up the sunshine or admiring the breath taking views of the countryside from above. Explore Shropshire Hills AONB from your doorstep or spend the day exploring Stiperstones National Nature Reserve - recognised internationally important heathland landscape home to rare wildlife such as red grouse, stonechat and skylarks. After burning off some energy, head out to Shrewsbury town centre for some independent retail therapy or enjoy traditional pub food at Stiperstones Inn located only 150m away from May Cottage itself! Note: Both bedrooms are accessed by separate staircases which are narrow compared to modern day standards. There are no sleeping arrangements on the ground floor. One well behaved dog is allowed but we must be made aware at the time of booking. (subject to additional GBP25 cleaning fee)
