Our company started in 2015 when we arrived in Stamford at the Garden House since then Jackie, our housekeeper & I have loved welcoming guests to both the Garden and Coach House from all over the world. Both properties needed a lot of love & attention and we are pleased to now have Meadow House added to our portfolio. My main interests have always been around animals having had dogs all my life, daughters with horses & at present I have 3 English Setters who keep me very active with the walking. Dogs are always very welcome in all our Houses. My other joy is gardening and we have Heather as our gardener in Stamford to thank for maintaining the grounds. I also enjoy most sport with football & tennis being my favourites. Sport has played a major part in my life from my husband having played football, son & daughter having played Rugby & Tennis at very high levels, we have always been an active & outdoor family. You will always be met by either Jackie or myself to show you where everything is & to make sure your stay will be as enjoyable as possible. Meadow House has been completely renovated to a high standard. The frontage is from the 16th century with an extension added onto the rear with fantastic views over the river, meadows & town. The whole living space is now open plan with the kitchen area having everything you would need for a stay whether it be 2 days or 2 weeks. A Tassimo coffee machine with a few pods for your skinny latte or full blown Cappuccino is also on hand along with a welcome basket on the side. Comfy sofa's & a flat screen TV in the lounge area where you can enjoy the sunset on the sun terrace or whilst eating at the dining table by the panoramic windows. Free WiFi throughout the House. The master bedroom has a king size bed whilst the 2nd bedroom has twin beds with zip n link mattresses to convert to a super king, top quality bed linen & towels are washed by a laundry service. The bedrooms share a large family bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, hand basin & toilet. There is a further bathroom on the ground floor with shower, hand basin & toilet. Outside is a cottage garden with lawn, patio area with a gas BBQ & garden furniture, there is safe parking for a car in the integral garage. Enjoy.

Meadow House is situated in one of the oldest parts of Stamford, the cobbled streets lead down to the river & meadows. The house is a 4 minute walk from the old Inns & niche shops just off the main high street. Stamford itself is a town sculpted from pale limestone, Stamford doesn’t have a dominant monument that you have to see as a priority, but rather there’s a whole streetscape of stone-built townhouses, churches, almshouses, cottages and imposing civic buildings to take in but of course Burghley House is an absolute must. Up to the 19th century Stamford was a stop on the coaching highway the Great North Road, and the one of our other properties, the Garden House, is a converted coaching inn from that time the oldest part dating back to 1674 In the outlying village of Little Casterton, Tolethorpe Hall has been a country house since the Norman Conquest. the house and gardens are owned by the Stamford Shakespeare Company. In the summer season people make a bee-line for the open-air theatre for performances of two of Shakespeare’s works, as well as play's by other important playwright's such a Noël Coward. Whatever the reason to visit us there is something to suit everyone.
