Gostei do conforto do local, passa a sensação de que estamos em casa. Muito acolhedor, bem decorado e simples. A calma que o local/ paisagem transmitem é inigualável. Os anfitriões foram incríveis.

Charming 17th Century cottage with wonderful views, high in the hills of the Black Mountains in Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons) National Park. Enjoy the many walking, hiking and cycling routes in the area, or simply relax in an armchair by the log burner. The cottage is self-contained with its own entrance and private terrace, set on a working farm and adjoins the main farmhouse. In a peaceful location near Cwmdu village yet a short drive to Crickhowell (15 mins), Abergavenny (25 mins) and Hay-on-Wye (30 mins), it is the perfect base for exploring or relaxation. The cottage has its own entrance, with parking for two cars on the farmyard, and a private terrace where you can sit out and enjoy the sights and sounds of the hills: the many birds in the area, sheep and ponies in the fields and the occasional tractor working. We are in a Dark Sky Reserve and on a clear night you can enjoy magical starry skies. The cottage has a full kitchen with dining area, a cosy living room with leather armchairs and sofa, a log burner and double doors which open onto the terrace overlooking the mountains. There is lockable bike storage available on the terrace. Upstairs there is sleeping for up to four. The bed linens are 100% cotton with feather and down duvets and pillows, and cotton blankets. The main bedroom has a king size bed (which can also be split into two singles) and there is a comfortable twin room. The bathroom has a shower stocked with natural shampoo, conditioner and body wash (lavender), and handsoap. Two towels per person are provided (1 bath towel and and 1 hand towel) and a bath mat. A hairdryer is also provided. The kitchen is stocked with instant coffee and tea bags, salt, pepper, dried herbs and spices, and oil. We provide hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, laundry detergent, tea towels and oven gloves.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our farm in this beautiful part of the Black Mountains in Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons) National Park. It is a magical place to wake up in every day and we love to share the beauty of this special area with our guests. We are a working farm, we have sheep here, as well as horses and shetland ponies, so there may be some farmyard activity during your stay. We also have our own dogs who accompany us around the farm. I am sure that you will enjoy the tranquility of being in the mountains, you may also hear the pitter patter of tiny hooves as the shetlands come in for their breakfast.
We are very well placed for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, with many hiking and cycling routes in the area, including directly from the farm, and easier walks too. The farm is in a peaceful location near Cwmdu village with beautiful views yet still nearby (by car) to the local market towns of Crickhowell and Talgarth (15 minutes), as well as Abergavenny (25 minutes) and Hay-on-Wye (30 minutes), where you will find lots of places to eat and drink. Crickhowell or "Crughywel” in Welsh is a particularly lovely town to visit with many independent shops and a delightful high street .
