We also operate Sella Park Country House Hotel which is a traditional country house recently fully refurbished with boutique rooms and amazing gardens, here we offer space for larger functions in our static marquee. Here at Pennington hotels we have something for everyone in this beautiful coastal area of Cumbria

Traditional Cottages in beautiful rural and village surroundings, the perfect place to relax and unwind , we have a selection of sizes which can accommodate the larger family or party, great gardens with far reaching views We welcome our four legged friends to all our cottage properties as we know they love a holiday too (An additional charge per dog per stay maximum 2 dogs per cottage is applicable ) PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately due to the remote location Wi-Fi is not available in our homes and phone signals can be weak and intermittent but does give our guests the opportunity to unplug, relax and unwind 2 of our properties are in a remote area surrounded by open land when checking in at the Pennington Hotel you will be given directions.

The small village of Ravenglass is on the estuary where you will find the Pennington Hotel which provides delicious food in a boutique setting in the heart of the village The Historic Muncaster Castle with its Hawk and Owl Centre is just under 2 miles away, boasting some of the best views in the Lake District , its daily Raptor flying displays, world famous gardens and secret walks. The Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow gage railway runs throughout the season up into Eskdale where there are plenty of walks for all tastes. You can even go up to Dalegarth in Eskdale and walk back to Muncaster. The spectacular Lake of Wasdale is only 9 miles away. The view looking up the lake was voted best View in England! If you are keen on wildlife there is plenty to see! There is plenty to do for all age groups so why not come and enjoy yourselves!
