Only 3 miles away Glastonbury Tour is worth a visit Stonehenge Near to Wells smallest medieval city that has been featured in a host of TV and Hollywood films including Hot Fuzz. Wells has been voted the UK’S top destination to visit. Wells Bishops Palace and Wells Cathedral are highly recommended. Visit Wells market on a Wednesday and Saturday every week. Cheddar Gorge and Cheddar Caves- visit Lion Rock Cafe in Cheddar award winning Wookey Hole Caves is a great place to visit if you have young children Lacock village definitely worth a visit and Castle Combe village Shearwater Lake Heavens Gate Alfred's Tower National Trust - Stourhead is a beautiful place to visit Bradford On Avon - the Roman town- restaurants, shops, inns, river, canal and amazing local history, canoeing, kayaking, nature walks, artisan market, Bruton is a village on the way to Wells. visit The Newt in Bruton also some of the great restaurants and pubs.
