North Walk House is a Victorian House, built in a cliffside location in 1856 for the dowager for the neighbouring grand house and also included some servants' quarters, space for the coach and the horses, and of course, the coachman! It has been operating as guest holiday accommodation from 1890.

All bedrooms are well equipped with an en suite bathroom, Free Wi-Fi, Hair dryer, TV, coffee making facilities and the most incredible sea views. We have designed our rooms with your relaxation in mind and strive to make North Walk House the best home away from home coastal getaway. Currently we have 1 ground floor room which can be a zip linked superking bed or two single beds and two first floor bedrooms with king size beds. If getting away from everyone is what you are looking for one of our self-catering apartments would be the perfect option for you. They offer you the freedom of a self-contained stay alongside the use of the hotels facilities if you wish. The apartments sleep between two and four guests and come fully equipped with kitchens a bedroom and a homely living space. We are more than happy to help with any special requirements you may have. Just please give us a call and let a member of the team aware when you make your booking, and we will do our utmost to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately no pets are permitted in the Bed and Breakfast House, only in the self catering apartments and extra charges apply. Guests are also very welcome to dine at our sister hotel, The North Cliff, just a couple of minutes walk away along North Walk. The evening menu can be found on their website, alternatively simply enjoy a drink from the well stocked bar and sit overlooking the bay, taking in the magnificent sea and coastal views. Local activities include riding, tennis, mini golf, clay pigeon shooting or enjoy a film in the town cinema. We are ideally situated for exploring the beautiful coastline, Exmoor National Park, and the remarkable Valley of the Rocks is just a mile walk away.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, within 5 minutes walk of Lynton with plenty of small shops and restaurants. We overlook the bay of Lynmouth, which is a 10 min walk, where there is a harbour and lovely walk along the promenade. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of The Valley of the Rocks, where you can enjoy a picnic, see the local feral goats and take in the breathtaking sunsets!
