Company information
Art is a passion, Lynne is a sculptor - specialising in wire sculptures a gallery space and dedicated studio are available for all to enjoy at Norton House. When time allows we enjoy Walking Willow our Labradors Willow & Eddie on the many scenic routes available in the area, Mountain Biking in the Forest of Dean and of course cooking with the local produce - some of the best in the world.
Property information
Norton House was built around 1650, then further extended in 1716. However the origins of Norton House go back a lot further with research revealing it as a site of a Roman Forge. So there has been activity on site here for over a thousand years! Original wooden shutters in all the rooms, oak beams and wonky stone floors all add to the charm and character of this wonderful building.
The house makes the perfect setting for a short break or vacation to take in all the charm of the Wye Valley - Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Royal Forest of Dean (can you spot the wild Boar?) , South Wales and Herefordshire.
All of our generously spacious letting rooms have en-suite facilities. While at the house you will see paintings, sculptures and other works of art from local artists, for you to purchase or simply enjoy.
