The living areas in this cottage consist of a kitchen equipped with oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a living/dining room with TV, a selection of books and games, and dining seating for six and a sunroom with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower room, a king-size and a small double serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and a large, enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Within 0.4 miles there is a shop and a pub. One well-behaved dog welcome at a supplement, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Oak Tree Barn is a wonderful setting for a getaway in North Yorkshire. Note: This property sleeps six, but the double room houses a small double bed. One dog allowed at the property. This property has a Saturday changeover, please enquire about breaks with a different changeover day.

Scarborough and Whitby are 13 and 20 miles away and offer all the amenities and facilities of two of the country's best coastal resorts. York and Castle Howard are about an hours drive away and offer all the history and culture that any holiday would need. The neighbouring market towns of Pickering, Malton, Kirbymoorside and Helmsley are great destinations and are the hubs for many summer festivals and shows. The National Park and Coastline offer many opportunities for a great day out. The North York Moors National Park is on the doorstep with miles of open moor to wander through.
