Property information

Octon Cottage is set in the beautiful grounds of Octon Lodge which gardens extend to over an acre and third , it overlooks the neighbouring fields and countryside, with Blackdown hills in the distance. Constructed in the 17th century as a Coach house but fully refurbished it is full of charm and character. The cottage offers spacious open plan living with kitchen/dining room and lounge, as well as french doors that open up to the garden, the bathroom with bath/shower is located on the ground floor. The cottage can sleep 4, with two bedrooms on the first floor. The kitchen has hob, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Located opposite Taunton Racecourse and approximately 1 1/2 miles from the Taunton town centre and and all its amenities.

Octon Cottage is close to all amenities of Taunton including Taunton racecourse, polo ground,Kings college and Richard Huish College only 1/2 a mile away, Hydrographics office 1 mile, Somerset County Cricket ground, Musgrove park hospital, Taunton record office, Hestercombe gardens, , West Somerset steam railway, Blackdown hills and Quantock hills, Taunton railway station are all within easy access. Approximately 2 miles from the M5 junction 25 and A303.
