The security person AND the person that checked us in. They were extremely welcoming and courteous. Especially as we had a long journey. My faith in customer service has been restored.
The hotel was very clean. Towels were very white and fluffy. Better than some 5* hotels I have spent time in. Bed linen was lively. Room had everything that was necessary. Very minimal but nothing was lacking. Shower was immediately hot and area extremely clean. It has proven to me that sometimes the starvation of a hotel does not always reflect the service of the presentation of the hotel. I really really liked this place
Didn't have breakfast so could not make a comment .

Stylish, Stately and A Shopping Haven!
Between Bronte Country and the Yorkshire Dales, Leeds is a stately city with a wealth of impressive Georgian and Victorian buildings. The most celebrated is the town hall, a Grade I-listed gem with a huge clock tower supported by columns. Just around the corner is the understated Leeds Cathedral, and between the two is Millennium Square, a large urban space that plays host to outdoor concerts and a German Christmas market.
Shopping in Leeds is fantastic. Kirkgate Market is Europe’s largest covered market, and the magnificent, round Corn Exchange is home to exclusive boutiques. The city also has the first Harvey Nichols outside of London, as well as the usual high street brands.
As home to 2 large universities, Leeds has a young and vibrant vibe. It has repeatedly been voted the clubbing capital of the UK and is home to the Leeds Festival, an annual music event that attracts thousands.
The city also has excellent sporting pedigree. Internationals are held at Headingley cricket ground, and Leeds United FC and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league team are well-known names in their fields.
On the outskirts of the city are wonderful Roundhay Park, Kirkstall Abbey and Leeds-Bradford International Airport. Leeds accommodation on Booking.com covers all areas of this elegant city.
We love Leeds. Excellent shopping, entertainment, pubs, and great hotels and transport links. The local council should pat themselves on the back. A City well looked after, and growing better every year.
We stay at the Marriott hotel ( the best ) Gino’s restaurant is inside and on the front of the hotel. Superb standards all round. For cocktails Revolution de Cuba. Indian food The Bombay Brasserie, pub food The Turks Head, for a great pub with a fab landlady and a great pint The packhorse. Enjoy !!!!!

Lovely University City, with the campus in the heart of the city. Some fabulous bars and restaurants. It was a very short trip (daughter had offer holders open day) so we could only do so much. One thing that was a shame was that a number of bars were 18+ all day (we had our 15year old son with us so was a bit of a pain). Other than that a very pleasant trip, and the university looks fabulous.

Leeds is a small city and the central part is easy to get around on foot. Driving can be a bit bewildering as the underpasses and roundabouts look very similar to each other, bus lanes somestimes trundle down the middle of the road and signage means you can need to change lanes at rather short notice. We especially loved Temple Newsome House and the Thackery Medical Museum. The Corn Excgange is well worth a vist as is the delightful nearby book and plant shop on a barge, The Hold Fast. Pleanty of good places to eat, but don't get caught out by needing to book.

Leeds is a very vibrant and dynamic city with lots to see and do..For example: many bargains can be had in the shops and there is a positive friendly vibe from the locals you encounter
This was actually a nostalgia trip for me, as I used to live and work there up until 2009. So it was great to see the city again.and how it is changing and evolving.
One caveat though. Unfortunately, the outdoor market @ Kirkgate seems to have gone into a serious decline. We went there on 3 different days during our 7 days stay and each time. many stalls were empty and the previous vibe there has sadly almost totally disappeared.
On a more positive note, we both loved the indoor food court, with it's wide diversity of street foods and drinks from around the world, e.g. Vietnamese, Indian, Middle Eastern etc. You can pick up a good value meal there and just chill while people watching

As it was a rainy day we stayed in the vicinity of the hotel. We visited the Armouries which is just opposite the hotel as intended but we had planned walking by the river and eating in the City Centre. Instead we ate at the Pizza Express just around the corner where we had a lovely meal.
Comfortable apartment, with en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom. very clean. A great find to easily access central Leeds and close to the train station. Due to a train cancellation we brought the car and parked cheaply in a nearby street, and for free at night, a five minute walk away. There is a car park by the apartment, though it is more expensive. Easy to walk into central Leeds.
Real little gem in great location. Well-equipped, good views, nearby shops and cafes. We only stayed one night but it would be ideal for longer stay. Overlooks Leeds Dock in quiet location with about 20 minutes walk to city centre.- or you can take little boat from terminus. Right next To Royal Armouries too. Good value compared with hotels with more freedom.
location is ideal for city centre and arena, rooms are a nice size with good facilities, air con and comfortable beds, its also very quiet to say its next to a main busy road. staff are friendly and polite and breakfast that i had was very nice, parking with cctv attached payable to hotel. this would be my first choice in future. would recommend this hotel.
Hotel in fantastic condition really busy with wedding on the Saturday, 2 night stop great location for Headingley & Leeds City centre. Nice 15 minute walk down the road to Giorgios restaurant & plenty of pubs for a few beers.
Also went to the Summer Bash Rugby at Headingley so the Village Hotel is prime location
Great spar, gym & pool
Definitely return

Travelled from Liverpool to see Judas Priest and the hotel wasn’t too far from city centre. When we got to the hotel myself and my friend were greeted at the front desk by 2 caring members of staff.
Could not fault the experience and would return when I’m next in Leeds!
Love the Queens hotel and always stay there when we go to Leeds. It’s the best location for the city centre and so easy to park next to train station. Hotel decor looks great since the last upgrade. We love the bar/restaurant area. Great staff in all areas
Breakfast included in price that was good, 10 minute walk into the city centre about 20 minutes walk to Leeds arena. Hotel nice and clean, staff were attentive and friendly. Bed was comfortable sofa bed not so much. Late night bar till 2am.
Location to Uni and walking distance to town. Free parking and able to extend parking after checkout.
Room was good size with coffee/tea/hot chocolate.
Clean room, clean bedding and towels. Cheap in comparison to other nearby hotels.
very welcoming staff, hotel easy to navigate. very clean and well organised hotel. nice and central in Leeds city centre, close to train station, first direct arena and for shopping and restaurants
Apartment was a great size and location, was perfect for the City Centre and Theatre and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the bathroom very modern with a nice power shower.
The hotel was very close to the train station which is why I chose it. I had never been to Leeds before and didnt want to walk through the city centre late at might with my Grandson
Staffs were friendly and nice. The bed in our room was huge and comfortable. Location of the hotel is perfect next to the canal and in the city centre.
