Escape to the country with a stay at Orchard Side Bed and Breakfast. Orchard Side offers a deluxe room with an en-suite and a private balcony along with a double or twin room. A hearty BREAKFAST IS included in the price and access to the garden offers a quiet retreat from a busy day. Breakfast is NOT included when you book the self-catering ANNEX but can be ordered on arrival at an additional charge. Both the B&B and the Annex look out over the lovely mature garden and both offer secure parking through electric gates. Hanley Swan is a lovely village with a gastro pub just a 5-minute walk from the property that serves amazing food and local ales. The Malvern Hills is a short drive away offering breathtaking views across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire with walks to suit all levels of fitness. The Three Counties Show Ground hosts many events throughout the year and is just 1.5 miles up the road. Upton Upon Severn has many festivals during the summer and is just 3 miles away, and Great Malvern offers plenty of shops and eateries.
Gigi is a relaxed and caring host who loves running her B&B. With her late husband, Neil they moved to Orchard Side back in 1988 and lovingly upgraded this 1929 home to what you see today. Neil and Gigi started the B&B back in 2015, but since 2019 she has been forced to run the business singlehanded. This makes for a very busy life running the business and maintaining a large garden but she never misses her walk around the Hanleys or on the Malvern Hills with her dog, Charlie! Gigi will always encourage you to head to the Malvern Hills to enjoy the views and the many walks as part of your visit and her local knowledge will help you get the very best from your stay. Gigi and her late husband Neil travelled extensively across the globe, so understanding the importance of good hospitality helps to drive her passion for making Orchard Side the best B&B experience. Gigi looks forward to welcoming you to stay in this beautiful part of the UK.
Orchard Side Bed and Breakfast is located in the beautiful village of Hanley Swan. It boasts a lovely Duck Pond, Village Green a magnificent Oak Tree, a village shop and a high-quality gastropub, The Swan Inn. The pub is a 5-minute walk from the B&B and is also a perfect base for exploring the Malvern Hills, Great Malvern Upton Upon Severn and the Three Counties Showground. The city of Worcester is just 9 miles away and you are within driving distance to The Cotswold, Gloucestershire, Stratford upon Avon, and Herefordshire. You will find National Trust properties to visit along with Eastnor Castle, Worcester and Hereford Cathedrals, Tewkesbury Abbey and lots of other interesting things to do.
