Pip Easby the current owners history involves running a successful interior design business which reflects on some of the interior of Ranscombe, he has been in the hospitality trade for over 30 years ,starting by being a partner in a successful Pub/45 seater Restaurant in Reading, this was followed by his move to Devon where he converted an old farmhouse which was used for Holidays Lets. His next move with his partner was to convert an old Georgian House with stables into a very successful BB/conference centre and wedding venue.Both Pip and his partner entered Four in a Bed which they won. Pip will be running Ranscombe house mainly on his own [with help from his cleaner] and hopes to develop a great relationship with his guest.He has when a Partner at Muddifords won several Breakfast awards from Visit England and the AA

Ranscombe house is a Grade 2 listed 250 year old Sea Captains Residence, originally built for its stunning views ,its 8 ensuite bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard with all new beds ,linen ,carpets and furnishings.The ensuite are to a good standard and are in process of on going refurbishments.all rooms have tea/coffee ,Wifi, hairdryer, towels, dressing gowns and free toiletries. Guest have the use of the 2 lounges and a games room/bar in the basement. There is a veranda that looks over Torbay and is great to sit on at night and watch the sun sink into the sea this can also be used to have your morning coffee on.Steps from this lead to a large garden area with seating for over 24 and also incorporates a BBQ area. The two main features that makes Ranscombe unique is its 12 on site parking spaces [very rare in Brixham] and its position of only being 5 min walk to the Town, Harbour and beach.
