This is the annexe to our lovely thatched arts and crafts house in the Teign Valley. It is self contained and private with shared drive. The property is light and spacious and in a beautiful secluded position surrounded by woodland with views across the valley. The property has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, TV with Netflix and other programmes, and plenty of games, books, CDs, DVDs etc. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a large shower room. All linen and towels are provided.
Charles and Anna are the owners and live in the main part of the house. We are retired and live in Devon to enjoy the wonderful landscape here. We manage the garden and grounds including a separate space for you with terrace and small lawn. We have six acres of woodland which you can explore.
The mid Teign Valley is one of the most beautiful parts of Devon. It feels remote but is only twenty minutes from the centre of Exeter. There are great walks from the property, including to Steps Bridge and Dunsford Woods, a well known beauty spot with masses of wild daffodils in Spring. Canonteign Falls, the highest waterfall in England, is a few miles down the valley. There are excellent pubs in the area, and many of Devon's attractions, including Dartmoor and the sea, are in easy reach.
