Lovely room, a very nicely done porch and sitting area and an ideal location for town, the tor and walking into the countryside. Perfect for my three day stay. Breakfast, tea and coffee facilities in the room were lovely. Thanks for the biscuits 😊

Spot clean!! Sarah made me feel like home and had food in the fridge, bread and plant based milk. Super kind. Location is great too. I love the wall painting behind the bed 🖼️, it sends such tranquil vibes.

Welcome to our little Room with a View. We aren't a hotel and our private guest suite is definitely cosy & small, but it's completely self-contained and beautifully formed. The 'view' is a beautiful mural painted onto one wall depicting an ancient Somerset landscape by local artist, Jon Minshull. We live in a lovely estate at the top of Windmill Hill, one of Glastonbury's ancient hills, and our house is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the top of the main High street; away from the hustle and bustle, making it a quiet and peaceful place to stay. Walking home back up the hill is a pretty walk, but it is a little steep in places and might not suit all guests. You will have a free parking space on the drive, your own entrance, a private decked porch, private shower room and ammenities incl: Wifi, flat screen TV, fridge & microwave. We also have a shop just around the corner. Anything you need, I'm here to help ❤️ The decked porch is a lovely space to sit in the morning as the birds sing, or in the sunshine of an afternoon or dusky evening, even in the rain as you're completely covered.
My name is Sarah and I've been hosting for nearly 3 years; I love welcoming visitors to Glastonbury. I'm also a Jazz singer and put on regular, local music events and I also work at Heart of The Tribe art gallery, definitely worth a visit if you're on Glastonbury High street. Our guest room is an annex attached to the side of my house where I live with my son and Cocker Spaniel dog Nigel. The room has a sound proofed fire-door that leads to my kitchen, but is kept locked for your privacy. You may hear a bit of sound coming from the kitchen at meal-times, but we keep things as quiet as possible in the evenings. Your privacy is important so I won't intrude into your space unless required. You'll have your own key so you can come and go as you please. It's a short walk from here to all local amenities including the Chalice Wells, the Abbey & White Springs. There is also a short-cut to the Tor from here. :)
My house is right next to St Edmund's mound, a spiritual site with stunning views of the Tor and Chalice Hill. There is also a short-cut to the Tor from here which is useful for visitors wishing to climb the steps to the top and then visit the White Spring and Chalice Wells. It's lovely to be so close to everything Glastonbury has to offer, and yet elevated enough to escape the often crazy Glastonbury energies and have a little peace.
