Rose Cottage is a recently renovated cosy victorian end of terrace cottage. Its located in one of Dartmoor's most stunning villages called Lustleigh. Rose cottage is a 5 minuite walk to the local pub and famous tearoom. Rose Cottage is very comfortable with two WCs and a main bathroom with shower. Equiped with washing machine, freezer, dish washer, cooker and fridge. There is also an lockable outdoor storage unit, enough space for 2 bikes. Bike access to the back of the property is via our neigbours drive to the right of the Rose cottage and through a wooden gate into the properties courtyard at the back of Rose cottage.
My husband and I bought this lovely cottage couple of years back and have many wonderfuly holidays here. The village has a great pub, famous tea rooms and village shop. We love walking and cycling and there are a number of walks from the property. Our young spaniel also loves it here
The best thing about this area is the short walk to the great local pub and tearooms. Next to the pub is the village cricket ground, we've spent many a lazy summers day watching the cricket with a beer from the pub. A short drive gets you into the middle of the moor, with the famous Haytor 10 to 15 mintue drive away. Widecombe in the moor is also worth a visit with a pub and lovely cafe in the centre. Dartmoor is a special place and full of lots of walks and cycling. Get out into the wild moor, or rapid rivers or walks around a number of large reservoirs.
