Rosehip Cottage is a spacious 1 bedroom detached cottage in a peaceful, rural setting, with its own private, enclosed garden. Located in the heart of the Somerset countryside, this is the perfect rural retreat, ideally situated to explore the West country. Glastonbury, Wells, Sherborne, the Dorset coast and the Somerset Levels are all within easy reach. Enjoy a pint of real ale in front of a roaring fire in a country pub, take your dog for a walk on a quiet country lane or just relax and unwind in the garden. The cottage has 1 double bedroom, a large, light-filled living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, a separate, well-equipped kitchen and separate dining room with french windows opening onto the garden. The cottage has it's own private garden with patio area. The garden is completely enclosed, so no need to worry about your dog wandering onto the road if left alone in the garden. It's located on a quiet country lane, so you and your pet can enjoy a morning walk straight from your door. There is plenty of off road parking in front of the cottage.
The cottage is located on a quiet country lane, surrounded by fields on 3 sides. There are plenty of good walking routes nearby. It is 1 mile from the picturesque town of Somerton, which has a small, but well stocked supermarket, and some good local shops, cafes and pubs. There are plenty of good country pubs nearby. Somerton is the perfect base to explore the west country -it's close to Glastonbury, Wells and Sherborne, and there are 7 National Trust properties within 12 miles.
